March 4th, 2009 - Vanessa Claiborne Appointed President
Chaffe & Associates, Inc. is pleased to announce that the Board of Directors of the firm appointed Vanessa Brown Claiborne to the office of President and Chief Executive Officer, effective March 4, 2009. At the same meeting of the Board, D. B. H. Chaffe III was appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors.
"The selection of Ms. Claiborne to assume senior management responsibilities at the firm recognizes her contribution to the growth and stature of Chaffe & Associates. Ms. Claiborne's professional and management skills are widely recognized in the business community and have materially contributed to the development of highly skilled and experienced colleagues performing nationally recognized valuation and consulting services," says Mr. Chaffe, who will remain active with the firm, offering his experience and skill for the benefit of Chaffe's employees and clients.
