Chaffe's valuation services and reports comply with the rules and regulations promulgated by governmental agencies and professional organizations. In particular, Chaffe's work complies with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants' Statement of Standards for Valuation Services No. 1, The Internal Revenue Services Rulings 59-60 and 95-192, and the American Society of Appriasers and the Appraisal Foundation's Uniform Statements of Professional Appraisal Practice. Furthermore, Chaffe also utilizes and complies with the Department of Labor's proposed guidlines when appropriate, e.g., valuation for Employee Stock Ownership Plans.
